The April Blossoms
The next pictures are from the April Cherry Blossoms around Wakayama Castle. I know they’re late, but this also means I’ve almost caught up!
Seishu, Father of Anesthesia
A few days after our trip to the ocean, Mr. Yabuzoe took us to a small historic site in Wakayama devoted to Seishu. He developed the world’s first anesthesia and completed the first successful mastectomy on a breast cancer patient.
